clearing the clutter….

while packing for my new job posting overseas, i came across alot of memories in the form of notebooks, old pictures, handwritten notes, my precious collection of postcards etc…..and while i am aware of the value of such things emotionally and tangibly many years from today, i made the conscious decision to throw them away…..chuck ’em….as i was muttering as i packed……

it was not so much chuck ’em because they were old or anything like that but i looked through them, ran my fingers over them, reminisced over them, went glossy eyed over a few pictorial very sweet memories, but in the end my decision was made when I decided their place was in my heart and mind and i did not need a tangible reminder……. i am going to my new job with a renewed vigor of new start, new place, new life…..and i feel it is time to let go of many things and move on…….

so to my tangible collection of all things past, i say adieu, but you will always be in my mind and heart….. always………….
